 Hi! My name is Dan Colantone. I’m the
proud owner of
Tone Productions DJ Service. By my side is my life partner, my wife, Deneane. Also,
one of our DJ Assistants, Dance Instructors and Ceremony Specialists.
We are the proud parents of three children; two are models in
Bridal Fashion Shows. A

Wow! I never dreamed that after DJ’ing
my first party for a local charity at the age of 17, I was going to
make it my fulltime career. Music has been a big part of my
life going back to Grade School & High School, where I played the
trumpet in several youth bands; local concerts, marching in parades,
touring the country, what fun that was. That’s where my knowledge,
thirst & love for music continued to grow.
After graduating from High School, I
pondered what to study in college. Like many 18 year olds, I didn’t
know. That summer I DJ’d at some backyard parties and started working
in a few teen dance clubs. I'd watch how the music I played energized
the crowd as they danced all night. That fall, I knew I wanted to be a
DJ.
For the next 8 years, besides DJ’ing
Wedding Receptions and other events, I worked at well over 20
different nightclubs, bars, restaurants, pubs, and hotels. Some people
say, “I remember back in the day when you (Danny "Go Boy") used to
spin at
The Brickyard, M.T. Pockets, Gazander’s, Party’s, Michelle’s,
Stingray, Xtremez, The Wild
Olive, 115 Bourbon Street… I still have that tape you made me.”

By 1992, the referrals from the past
Wedding Receptions I did started pouring in and I asked some of my
friends who were DJ’s if they wanted to start doing Wedding
Receptions. At the end of 1993, Tone Productions did just under one
hundred wedding receptions, and it was time to start hiring and
training more DJ’s.
It’s now 2009, and seventeen years
later, Tone Productions entertains tens of thousands of guests
at nearly 500 Wedding Receptions a year. I oversee the entire
operation of Tone Productions and I’m involved in the day to day
details of each event and every client. I can truly say that Tone
Productions DJ Service and the Tone Productions DJ’s are the standard
of excellence. Thanks for visiting our website and I hope you consider
